Johannesburg – Famous Brands [JSE:FBR] has won a tender to provide private hospital group Netcare [JSE:NTC] with catering and retail services under the Net Café brand.

The effective date of the transaction was November 1 2012 and involves 38 existing coffee shops.

Famous Brands CEO Kevin Hedderwick said: “Our stated growth strategy is to increase Famous Brands’ presence in various markets segments; the private hospital arena is an example of that.”
