Johannesburg - The South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) will host its fourth annual research conference for retail real estate professionals and retailers at the Hilton Hotel in Sandton on Wednesday, April 9.
“Retail is always evolving as consumers shift the goalposts with their latest demands and new trends. Research is important to grow and improve the industry,” said SACSC CEO Amanda Stops.
Speakers include Dirk Nico Prinsloo from Urban Studies, Woolworths’ Errol Solomon and Jaye Sinclair from Burger King.
Topics will tackle everything from consumer demographics and evolving technology used by South African retailers, to marketing and merchandising displays.
“The main objective of the event is to share knowledge and experience,” said Malcolm Horne, CEO of the Broll Property Group, sponsors of the event.
