Johannesburg - Retailer Clicks Group [JSE:CLS] on Thursday reported a 22.2% increase in diluted headline earnings per share to 122.2 cents for the six months to end February 2011 from 100 cents a year ago.

An interim distribution of 37 cents per share was declared, an increase of 21.3%. Return on equity showed a further marked increase from 46.2% to 55.8%.

Operating profit rose to R462.3m from R396.8m and revenue increased to R7.5bn from R6.9bn.
