Johannesburg - Luxury goods group Richemont [JSE:] executive
chairperson Johann Rupert earned a smaller salary this year but as usual
donated his £3.6m earnings to charity, according to a report on Friday.
Business Day reported that Rupert's take home salary this
year was £3.6m, down from £3.9m last year.
This is contained in Richemont's annual report which was
released on Thursday.
Rupert's salaries and benefit payments from Richemont,
Remgro [JSE:REM], Reinet Investments Manager and Reinet Fund Manager are traditionally
donated to charity, reported the newspaper.
The company has declined to name the recipient charities.
