Johannesburg - The Estate Agency Affairs Board is taking Constantia Sectional Title Management (CSTM) to the High Court in Johannesburg on Wednesday following an investigation into "alleged improprieties".
The board's spokesperson Portia Mofikoe said it wanted an urgent interdict against Johannesburg-based CSTM to prevent it from continuing with alleged misappropriation of trust fund money.
A "disclosure regarding alleged improprieties in the conduct of the activities of CSTM" had led to a comprehensive investigation resulting in the court action, the board said.
In December, the board successfully applied to the same court to place Wendy Machanik Property Holdings' trust accounts under curatorship, following the alleged financial irregularities in the management of the accounts.
