Johannesburg - Delta Property says a maximum of 119 047.599 new Delta linked units will be issued to qualifying linked unit holders in terms of its R1bn rights offer.
The units will be issued at 840c per linked unit in the ratio of 50 62569 rights for every 100 Delta linked units held on the record date.
The purpose of the rights offer is to raise capital to partially fund proposed acquisitions and to create a platform from which Delta can fund future acquisitions.
The company said it had received irrevocable undertakings from existing linked unit holders to participate in the rights offer in an aggregate amount of R578 370‚ representing 57.8% of the rights offer units.
The rights offer is conditional upon the approval by linked unit holders at a general meeting set for April 4.
