Johannesburg - Prof Wiseman Nkuhlu has resigned as chairperson and non-executive director from the board of Metropolitan Holdings Ltd (MET) with immediate effect, the group announced
on Tuesday.
In a statement, the group said: "Metropolitan would like to thank Prof Nkuhlu for his valuable leadership and contribution during his term of office and wish him well for the future.
"Until such time as the board appoints a new chairperson, JJ Njeke, a non-executive director of Metropolitan and group managing director of the Kagiso group, has been appointed as acting chairperson."
