Johannesburg - The Aveng Group [JSE:AEG] on Tuesday announced that Dennis Gammie, the executive director responsible for business development and strategic projects, has decided to retire early with effect from 31 March 2010 and will stand down from the Aveng Limited Board.
The group also announced that Grinaker-LTA MD Neil Cloete, will leave the Group by mutual agreement with effect from 28 February 2010.
Eugene Erasmus has been appointed Acting MD of Grinaker-LTA while the company conducts an in-depth search for a new MD for this business. Erasmus has been instrumental in the strategic repositioning of Grinaker-LTA, which has placed the organisation on a sound footing. He is a member of the executive management team, a qualified civil engineer and has held numerous management positions in Grinaker-LTA over the past 30 years.
