Nelspruit - Mpumalanga will send a delegation to the 2005 World Expo in Aichi, Japan, on Saturday to showcase the province and attract investors.
Economic development and planning MEC William Lubisi will lead the delegation.
Some 143 countries are expected to attend the expo, which began on March 25 and ends on September 25.
"This expo will create world wide awareness about the products of our province," said departmental spokesperson, Smangaliso Shongwe.
The MEC will be accompanied by head of department, Rabeng Tshukudu, and chief executive officer of the Mpumalanga Investment Initiative, Musi Skhosana.
The delegation will return on September 10 and, 12 days later, Lubisi will lead another delegation to Shanghai, China, from September 22 to 24.
He will be accompanied by acting chief executive officer of the Mpumalanga Tourism Authority, Shoni Malao.
