Johannesburg - Around 800 miners marched at Lanxess Chrome Mine in Rustenburg on Friday morning, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) said.
"We handed over the memorandum of demands at 07:00," said NUM regional organiser Comfort Xhala.
"The management accepted the memorandum and promised workers they would revert back to their concerns within seven days."

Workers' concerns included the mine's compliance with policy, wage agreements, affirmative action, transformation and employment equity.
"During the employment process, they disregard employment equity in line with the demographics of the country," Xhala claimed.
The memorandum contained workers' concerns with what they alleged was exploitation and unfair treatment, unfair discrimination and the human resources department's anti-union conduct.
"[The workers] immediately reported for work after the protest march and did their normal duties without difficulty," Xhala said.
"The march was peaceful. No incidents were reported relating to intimidation or violence."
The mine could not immediately be reached for comment.
