NUM: strike to hit Kumba

Johannesburg - South Africa's powerful National Union of Mineworkers said on Friday its members at a Kumba Iron Ore mine planned to go on strike after a disagreement over changes to the conditions of employment.

"We shall issue the company with a notice of strike very soon," the union said in a statement.
