Johannesburg - Shares of Keaton Energy tumbled 4.5% to R2.35 after the company said it expected to fall to a first-half loss of between 20 to 22 cents per share, compared with earnings of 8 cents in the previous year.

Keaton, a small-cap miner and processor of coal, did not give a reason for the expected loss.
