Johannesburg - Mango airlines - owned and managed by SA Airways - will cooperate fully with the Competition Commission during its inquiry into local airline collusion.
"Any initiative that ultimately protects the consumer enjoys Mango's full support," the airline said in a statement late Thursday.
Earlier the Competition Commission issued a statement saying it was investigating collusion among local airlines on prices and pricing strategies to be adopted during the 2010 Fifa World Cup.
Comair - operator of British Airways in SA - also said it would cooperate with the Competition Commission.
In a statement late on Thursday, it said it had not yet received the complaint from the commission.
"Comair neither practices nor supports any form of collusion and will cooperate fully with the Competition Commission once the complaint has been received," it said.
