Cape Town - "Find another name." This was the warning Kerzner International sent to the owners of a new luxury limousine service in Cape Town.
Mark and Alison Grinnell recently started their limousine service under the name of One and Only Limousines. To Kerzner International this came uncomfortably close to its One&Only Cape Town.
Kerzer International's Cape Town hotel, with 131 rooms, opened its doors earlier this year on the V&A Waterfront.
A warning by the Kerzer group persuaded the Grinnells to rename their business to 00Heaven Limousines, rather than spending huge amounts on legal fees to oppose the hotel group.
Kerzner International was approached for comment on the matter, but had not responded by the time of publication.
