The results are on par with recent reports from Nielsen/Netratings that Kalahari.net now surpasses Amazon.com as South Africa's leading online retailer.
This is the second successive year that the e-tailer recorded triple digit growth figures.
Kalahari general manager, Hein Pretorius, said that Kalahari's customer-centric approach and sound business principles were behind the e-tailer's financial success.
"At Kalahari, all business processes evolve around our customers and we are continuously striving to better our service and offer. We currently deliver 96% of purchases on time, but this financial year will see that figure increase even more."
Kalahari.net's customer base increased 123% to 72 255 by March 31.
According to Pretorius, a stringent customer acquisition and retention strategy is in place, with measures to win the trust of customers being the most important aspect.
Kalahari derived about 13% of its turnover from its affiliate programme, e-Traders. Online banking service icanonline was the best performing affiliate.
Kalahari.net currently offers customers books, DVDs and videos, music, computerware, games and wine.
