Johannesburg - The JSE on Monday suspended the listing of security services company Command Holdings [JSE:CMA].
The listing was suspended in morning trade after Command failed to publish its audited annual statements for the year to end-December 2009.
Command published provisional results for the period in late April, but to date has not issued its so-called glossies.
While Command has offered no official explanation for the delayed submission of annual statements, the company in June appointed a new financial director, Cornelis Vermaak.
The suspension comes only days after Command – the only dedicated security services company listed on the JSE - renewed a cautionary notice advising shareholders of unspecified negotiations.
Shares in black economic empowerment investment company Cape Empowerment, which owns a strategic stake in Command, were down 125 to 22c on Monday.
