Johannesburg - Grand Parade Investments [JSE:], through a subsidiary, plans to open South Africa’s first Burger King restaurant in the first half of 2013, the company said on Thursday.

The company’s subsidiary, Utish Investments, has entered into a joint venture with units of Burger King Worldwide to form Burger King South Africa.
