Pretoria - The suspension of National Energy Regulator of SA (Nersa) chief executive Smunda Mokoena was withdrawn on Wednesday.
The decision to withdraw the suspension was taken at a special meeting on Tuesday, Nersa said.
The committee meeting resolved that allegations against Mokoena would be investigated by the office of the energy minister and that the suspension be lifted.
Mokoena was suspended last week after an alleged transgression of the Nersa code of conduct.
