Johannesburg - Sasol's [JSE:SOL] senior group executive in the global chemicals department has resigned, with effect from the end of November, the company said on Monday.
"Andre de Ruyter will be joining one of Sasol's long-standing customers, Nampak [JSE:NPK], as the company's CEO on April 1, 2014," spokesperson Alex Anderson said in a statement.
Fleetwood Grobler, the managing director of Sasol Olefins Surfactants, would take over from Ruyter on December 1.
"Fleetwood has extensive operations, technical research and capital project management experience gained in his 29 years at Sasol. He is also... recognised throughout Sasol as a strategic thinker with a truly global mindset," Anderson said.
Sasol CEO David Constable wished De Ruyter well in his career.
