Johannesburg - Richards Bay Coal Terminal has suspended all operations including export coal train service due to a power failure on January 31, the company said in a joint statement with logistics group Transnet on Monday.
"Although the export coal service has been suspended, the general freight business still continues unhindered," the companies said.
"It is expected that the coal value chain will be partially functional within the next three days with an expectation of it being fully operational by the week ending February 92014."
