Rainbow, Zambeef join forces in Zambia

Johannesburg - Rainbow Chicken [JSE:RBW] said on Thursday it has reached an agreement with Zambeef to establish a joint hatchery operation in Zambia.

The agreement includes the establishment of a broiler parent stock rearing‚ laying and hatching operation for the supply of day old chicks.

Rainbow and Zambeef will own 51% and 49% of the new Zamhatch business respectively.

According to Rainbow Chicken the business is expected to be operational within the next two to three years.
