Cape Town - There are "no results to share at present" from the Special Investigating Unit's (SIU's) investigation into allegations of corruption, fraud and maladministration at Eskom, Justice Minister Jeff Radebe said on Monday.

In a written reply to a parliamentary question, he said the unit had been approached by Eskom earlier this year.

"The Special Investigating Unit is investigating a number of concerns at Eskom, which include allegations of corruption, fraud and maladministration.

"As the investigation has only commenced recently, there are no results to share at present," Radebe said.

In March this year, Eskom announced it had entered into a three-year partnership with the SIU to fight corruption.

In a media release at the time, it said the SIU would "deploy a team of expert investigators for a systematic check of all Eskom divisions".
