Cape Town - Source Africa 2014, a pan-African textile, clothing and footwear trade event, will take place on June 19 and 20 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
Products from more than 180 African manufacturers and over 19 countries will be on display. More than 2 000 roleplayers in the industry are expected to attend the event.
It will promote African manufacturers and designers to a global audience, creating opportunities for these producers to do business with overseas retailers as well as increase intra-regional trade.
The event is supported, among others, by USAid, the American Apparel & Footwear Association, Apparel Manufacturers SA, the South African Footwear & Leather Export Council, the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and the Department of Trade and industry.
