Johannesburg - Former Vodacom [JSE:VOD] executive Pakamile Pongwana has been appointed CEO of the Independent Communications Authority of SA, Icasa said on Monday.
Pongwana will succeed Themba Dlamini who is to complete his three-year term at the end of October, spokesperson Paseka Maleka said.
He previously served as deputy director general for telecommunications policy in the communications department.
Pongwana's appointment is effective from November 1.
