Johannesburg - Revenue at the SA Post Office is up by 3% for the year ending March 2011, the company announced on Tuesday.
This was achieved despite a decline of 3.7% in mail volumes.
"We are actually very pleased to be announcing our
results this year," said board chairperson Vuyo Mahlati.
Revenue came in at R5.8bn, assets were up 5.7% to R10bn and Postbank depositor's funds were up 9.1% to R4bn.
The post office served 78 million customers and provided 1.7 million new addresses.
