New CEO for Vox Telecom

Johannesburg - Vox Orion CEO Jacques du Toit has taken over as chief executive of Vox Telecom [JSE:VOX] effective January 1, MoneyWeb reported.

He takes over from co-CEOs Angus MacRobert and Douglas Reed, who stepped down but will remain part of the executive team. 

According to the Vox Telecom board, MacRobert who is a shareholder in various other business including Afrihost and Wantitall, relinquished his post to pursue personal interests. 

Reed said the changes to management would not impact the business negatively. 

Reed will stay on as part of the Vox Telecom executive team to drive strategy, special products and product development, the report said.
