Johannesburg - Shares in Datatec [JSE:DTC] fell nearly 2% after the IT company warned it was unlikely to meet its full-year earnings forecasts because of weak conditions in Europe and disruptions to its North American business from Hurricane Sandy.

The company was expecting headline earnings per shares of about 50 US cents for the year to end-February.

Datatec was off 1.71% at R54.75.
