Johannesburg - South African media and leisure company Hosken Consolidated Investments (HCI) expects its half-year headline earnings per share to rise to between 216 cents and 240c, it said on Tuesday.
HCI - which controls casino and hotel company Johnnic Holdings and has a majority stake in commercial TV broadcaster e.tv - posted headline EPS of 191c in the corresponding period last year.
Headline EPS is the main profit measure in South Africa and excludes some exceptional items.
The company said it would release its results for the six months to end-September on or around November 15.
Its share price traded 1.16% higher by 11:36 at R87.
