Tokyo - Fujitsu said on Thursday that it had swung back to profitability in the April-June period, with the Japanese information technology giant's results driven by upbeat demand for its personal computer and mobile products.
The company said its quarterly net profit stood at $67m, reversing a $9bn loss a year ago.
Sales rose about 7% to about $1bn, the report said.
Fujitsu's revenue from mobile phones and PCs in Japan rose significantly, as did income from system integration services, Fujitsu said, adding that restructuring efforts also helped its bottom line.
