New transfer secretary in SA

Johannesburg - Stakeholder Data Services ((S-D-S)) has announced on Wednesday that it is now offering transfer secretarial services for equities in South Africa.
 
The company was established in 2014, offering expanded, holistic financial services to all JSE listed, as well as unlisted, companies in South Africa including on the African continent.

Johan Ras, managing director of S-D-S, has 38 years experience in the banking and financial markets industry and aims to offer specialised, client focused stakeholder solutions to the securities industry.

“It is with pleasure that we announce that our Transfer Secretary Systems (TS Systems) have been tested and approved by Strate and that we will operate as an official transfer secretary in South Africa," said Ras.

"Our focus is to grow the business responsibly through the deployment of other financial services, to form alliance partnerships with established and reputable financial services entities, thereby ensuring sustainable growth and attractive returns for our investors."

According to Ras S-D-S’s growth strategy includes locally developed and continued enhancements to world class tried and tested TS systems.

An announcement about a BBBEE structure offering can be expected soon, he added.
