New boss for Old Mutual EM

Johannesburg - Ralph Mupita has been appointed CEO of Old Mutual [JSE:OML] Emerging Markets, Old Mutual said on Monday.

"Ralph Mupita, currently CEO for Emerging Markets Life and Savings, will take on the role of chief executive officer of Old Mutual Emerging Markets from 1 February 2012," the company said in a statement.

He was replacing Kuseni Dlamini, who is leaving to pursue other business opportunities, Old Mutual said.

Dlamini will stay on in an advisory capacity until the end of March 2010.

Mupita has been CEO for Old Mutual Emerging Markets: Life and Savings since March 2011.

He joined Old Mutual in 2000.
