King James scoops grand award

Jan 14 2013 18:18
Cape Town - King James has been recognised as the best financial services agency in the world according to the 2012 Midas Awards.

“To be ranked as the top performer on any awards list is a fantastic achievement, however more importantly this is further global acknowledgement of the standout work our partnerships with Santam and Allan Gray have produced,” said James Barty, King James Group Chief Executive.

It beat agencies from New york, Berlin and Mumbai for the coveted Grand Midas award in the Investment Advisors category for the Santam ‘Back at Ya’ commercial.

‘Back at Ya’ also went on to win a Gold Midas in the TV commercial category.

The Santam campaign featuring Sir Ben Kingsley was awarded a Gold Midas for ‘Sir Sneaky’ and a Silver Midas for ‘Real McCoy’ in the Financial Planning category.

It also received a Silver Midas in the Investment Advisors category for the Allan Gray Limited ‘Time Flies’ commercial.
