Cape Town - The embezzlement trial of former Fidentia boss J Arthur Brown was postponed by the Western Cape High Court on Monday.
Judge Anton Veldhuizen said he was approached by counsel in chambers and told there were two "minor issues" which needed to be addressed.
"I've now made it clear that they have had sufficient time to attend to these matters... I'm not going to tolerate further delays in this trial," he said.
The trial is scheduled to resume on Tuesday.
Brown has pleaded not guilty to fraud, corruption, and money-laundering charges.
He has denied running a pyramid scheme and using investors' money for personal gain.
