FSB salutes Madiba

Johannesburg - The Financial Services Board joins the nation in mourning the passing on of South Africa’s greatest son, Tata Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.

“While we are deeply saddened by his death, we acknowledge that he leaves this country and the world a legacy that is unprecedented and which we ought to celebrate and cherish,” says the executive officer of FSB, Dube Tshidi.

“Tata was always looking at the bigger picture and while he would agree that as a country we have come a long way and achieved a lot, he would look at what more needs to be done.

“Therefore in paying tribute to him, it is incumbent upon us as an institution to take the baton and continue seeking solutions to realise his dream of creating a better life for all in South Africa and the rest of the world.”

“Our sincere condolences go not only to his family but to the nation as a whole.”
