Cape Town - Former SAA CEO André Viljoen has resigned as CEO of leisure and travel group Cullinan Holdings, it was announced on Wednesday.
It's been a brief tenure for Viljoen, who joined the Cullinan board as MD in January 2007. No reasons were given for Viljoen's resignation.
Cullinan, which owns Thompson Tours, Pentravel and Hylton Ross, reported a 27% fall in profits to R16m in the year to end September 2008.
As an interim measure Michael Tollman, the current non-executive chairman, has been appointed as executive chairperson and CEO.
Tolman will hold these positions until a long-term replacement for Viljoen is appointed.
In another board shuffle, David Standage, the current CFO of Cullinan, has been appointed as financial director.
