Greek lawmakers have approved a new round of drastic austerity measures after a long day of street battles between police and protesters left dozens injured.
Johannesburg - South Africa's state-owned utility Eskom said on Tuesday it had put emergency plans in place in case several of its generators trip, but the power supply in the country was fine for now.
Spokesperson Andrew Etzinger said Eskom had put up schedules for load-shedding (power outages) on its website, but said it had no intention of using them now.
"We don't foresee any load shedding, but we can't say never... for now we are fine," he said.
