Johannesburg - Distribution and Warehousing Network (DAWN,DAW) said on Monday that it anticipates headline earnings per share to be between 35% to 45% lower at between 45 cents and 53 cents per share for the year ended June 30, 2010, from 81.7 cents previously.

The group expects earnings per share to be between 10% to 20% lower at between 51 cents and 57 cents per share, from 63.9
cents earlier.

"A sound performance from most of the group's businesses was masked by the disappointing performance of the businesses focused on infrastructure-related spend, particularly DPI Plastics, Incledon Engineering and Sangio Pipes," DAWN said.

The group said it would publish its results on about September 13, 2010.

Dawn also informed shareholders that it has entered into negotiations which, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of its shares.
