New Delhi - India's Bharti Telesoft, a company owned by top mobile operator Bharti Airtel's parent Bharti Enterprises, has entered into a deal with South Africa's MTN to provide mobile value-added services.
Bharti Telesoft will deliver multimedia messaging, short message services and wireless application protocol gateway solutions for all 21 MTN operations, the Indian firm said in a statement.
No financial terms were announced.
Earlier this year, Bharti held talks with MTN about a possible combination that would have created a global top-10 telecoms firm, but no deal was reached.
