Johannesburg - Amalgamated Appliance Holdings Limited advised on Friday that its financial results for the year ended June 30 2009 are expected to show an increase in headline loss per share from continuing operations of between 450% and 470% and an increase in loss per share from continuing operations of between 415% and 435% when compared to the prior comparative period.

"The most significant portion of the loss was accumulated during the first six months of the trading year and has already been reported on in the published interim results for the six months ended December 31 2008," the group said in a trading statement.

The group's results for the year ended June 30 2009 are expected to be published on or about September 7 2009.
