Johannesburg - South Africa's Pioneer Food said on Thursday it intends to spin off its Quantum Foods unit by listing it in Johannesburg within the next 12 months.
Quantum produces eggs, chicken products, animal feed and commercial laying hens, Pioneer said in a statement.
It did not give any financial details about the proposed transaction.
