Cape Town - J.C. Le Roux sparkling wine has been declared a consumer Icon for the second consecutive year and wine category winner for the 5th year running in the Ask Afrika Icon Brand Survey.
One of only 28 South African brands to achieve iconic status in the 2015/2016 survey, J.C. Le Roux is once again the only alcohol brand to make the cut for the Icon hall of fame.
Based on a poll of more than 15 000 consumers, the survey is conducted annually by the Ask Afrika Group market research company.
In addition to identifying Icon brands, the survey also ranks brands in 164 product categories.
“We are extremely proud to once again have J.C. Le Roux declared an Icon in addition to our undefeated record for five straight years as winner of the wine category by South African consumers," said SA brand manager Ebith Jurgens.
