Cape Town – The Loeries Exhibition, which has just touched down in Cape Town, is a highlight on the Loeries annual calendar, stopping at educational institutions, expos, and public spaces within South Africa.
The Loeries Exhibition opens at Cinemark in Cape Town from 17-21 September during the Loeries Creative Week, with free entry to the public.
“The creative economy offers fantastic employment opportunities,” said Loeries CEO Andrew Human. “Ideas have great value and by providing our talented youth with an education, they can convert a blank computer screen into something of economic value.
“There is no reason why South Africa cannot harness our young minds and compete globally in this space.”
He said the exhibition adds value to all students, businesses and designers within the brand communications fields, with the aim to inspire and educate.
The Exhibition showcases the most recent award-winning work from The Loeries, including disciplines such as brand identity, architecture and interior design, package and publication design, motion graphic design, direct marketing, PR Communication, non-broadcast video, live events, sponsorship, digital communication and integrated campaigns.
Students, designers, brand industry professionals and the general public can experience these innovative ideas first hand and find inspiration from the work on show.
“Last year Cinemark hosted the Loeries Exhibition in Johannesburg at a cocktail affair followed by a preview screening of a blockbuster film. We look forward to indulging Cape Town this time around during Creative, with an equally inspirational evening,” said Yvonne Diogo, marketing manager at Cinemark.
“This year’s exhibition will include Cinema Landscape highlights, followed by a preview of the movie Million Dollar arm.”
The Loeries Travelling Exhibition will be hosted at Cinemark in Cape Town.
