Nerina Visser
Nerina Visser is the Head of Beta Solutions at Nedbank Capital. Her responsibilities include ETFs, index tracker products, custom indices, benchmark solutions, attribution analysis and performance measurement solutions. She holds a BSc from Stellenbosch University, an MBA (specialisation in Finance and Investment) from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, and is a CFA charterholder. She has received top ratings in quantitative analysis, risk management and innovative research in the annual Financial Mail ratings since 2001. She has 13 years experience in the financial services industry.

Tony Bell
Tony has 25 years investment experience having started his career as an analyst at Southern Life in 1984. After 11 years at Southern Tony joined Syfrets Managed Assets where he held the position of Chief Investment Officer until his departure in 2000. From 2000 to date Tony has been involved in the development of Peregrine iQ in both business development and fund management roles. He currently holds the position of director – fund management at Peregrine iQ. Tony holds two Honours degrees and an MBA.

Delphine Govender
Delphine Govender is an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager at Allan Gray Limited, where she has been employed for the past 8 years. She is currently directly responsible for managing a portion of Allan Gray’s equity and balanced assets and is also the portfolio manager of the Allan Gray Optimal Fund. Delphine is a qualified Chartered Accountant and CFA Charterholder. Delphine has been in the investments industry for the past 11 years and during this time has served on the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) Exco and as Deputy President of the Western Cape Chapter.

Petri Greef
Petri passed his undergraduate, Honours and Masters degrees in Physics cum laude. He completed his Phd in Physics in 2001 while lecturing at the University of the Free State. Petri's is Head of the Research and Special Projects and sits on the ALM team. He is involved in ALM and investment strategy formulation for a number of clients and was part of the team that developed RisCura’s proprietary asset-liability model after an intensive two year research period. He has ongoing involvement in the research team to help propagate critical thinking throughout the company. Petri has been involved in critically re-evaluating risk and performance calculations widely accepted in the retirement industry and also helped educate Boards of Trustees on RisCura’s unique approach to risk. Petri joined RisCura in December 2002. Prior to joining RisCura, he lectured at the University of the Free State while completing his Phd.

Heidi Raubenheimer
Heidi Raubenheimer is faculty at the Graduate School of Business at UCT. She also consults as an independent quantitative researcher, chiefly to Sanlam Investment Management. Heidi has been actively involved in the investment industry in South Africa for about ten years, during which she has contributed to research brokers, specialised asset managers, large corporate investment managers and pension fund consultants. She is a CFA charter holder and has an MSc in Operations Research from UCT.

Armien Tyer
Armien Tyer is Managing Director of Sanlam Investment Management (SIM), an Executive Director of the Sanlam Investment Cluster Board, on the advisory board of a major South African university, and on the editorial board of the investments publication Collective Insight. Tyer was previously responsible for Institutional Business Development at SIM and has also been Head of Strategy for Sanlam's Investment Cluster. He joined SIM as a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager in 2002. Prior to this, Tyer was an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Investec. He was also an Associate at McKinsey Consulting with experience across a diverse range of industries. Tyer holds a MBA (Cum Laude) from the Stellenbosch University, a B.Com with majors in economics and accounting and a B. Com (Honours) in Financial Management from The University of Cape Town. Armien's interests are financial markets, ancient history, philosophy, golf and walking on mountain paths.

Anne Cabot-Alletzhauser
Anne is the chief investment officer at Advantage. She has 30 years experience in investment and risk management spanning North America (4 years) - Japan (5 years) - the UK and Europe (5 years) and South Africa (16 years). She pioneered the current - quantitatively-driven specialist approach to multi-manager management that is the hallmark of Advantage Asset Managers.
