Johannesburg - Fifteen new members were appointed to the Digital Dzonga
Advisory Council, Communications Minister General Siphiwe Nyanda
said on Friday.
"The council will advise the minister on and oversee the complex process of migrating South Africa's analogue broadcasting services to a new digital technology known as digital terrestrial television or DTT," the ministry said in a statement.
The 15 members, who will be in office for a five-year term, were chosen from more than 50 nominations submitted by the public.
