Cape Town - It's that time of year again when all eyes will be on Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan as he delivers his budget speech later this month.

And if you would like to suggest to Gordhan how to distribute your hard-earned cash, now is the time to do so.

The minister has again invited South Africans to send their thoughts on what they would like to see in the country’s budget.

You are also encouraged to send through tips on how growth can be made more inclusive, so that it can be spread to more people and do more to fight unemployment, poverty and inequality.

The budget tips campaign runs throughout the year and provides you with a chance for active participation in government programmes, especially in matters related to the economy.

So go on, send us your budget tips and we'll make sure Gordhan receives them.

Gordhan will deliver his 2013 budget speech to parliament on February 27 at 14:00.
