Cape Town - There is tax relief on the cards for small businesses as suggested by a tax committee, says Old Mutual senior legal manager Soré Cloete.
She said in a studio interview with Fin24 that the Davis Committee suggested that government re-look how tax will be collected from small businesses.
She was explaining the tasks of the committee, which include among other things, identifying the hiccups in the tax collection system, Cloete said.
Cloete said small businesses cannot be held back by red tape because they need to create employment.
