Cape Town - The CEO of debt counselling firm said he was hoping Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan's National Budget would have provided details about jobs.
"Unfortunately there was no good news on that front"', said Debt Credit Matters boss Rodger Brown.
"In previous budgets we've heard about different programmes, where they hope to give people opportunities. This year's budget was mum on those issues."
Brown said in his view the budget speech was all about patronage and corruption. "How do you get rid of the patronage and corruption and at the same time give people that are unemployed and in debt a reason to feel happy," he asked.
