Johannesburg - All fingers point to an overpaid, under-delivered South African president.
And yes it has been argued that if you look for the stats you will find them, but doesn't make it right.
President Jacob Zuma was top in the burgernomics Big Mac Index, and leading the stakes in comparisons on both salary as a percentage of GDP and the average earnings of the country’s citizens.
The latest approach looks at the President’s salary as a percentage of overall tax collected.
The statistics were put together by Biznews community member Brendon Johns and the comparisons are mind-blowing.
The biggest gap in all three previous measurements has been with China’s Xi Jinping and the latest statistics are no different.
This latest comparative method shows Zuma’s relative salary is 189 times more than the Chinese leader.
